| Lakini wewe nena mambo yapasayo mafundisho yenye uzima; Tito 2:1 |
But say the things which fit sound doctrine, |
| ya kwamba wazee wawe wenye kiasi, wastahivu, wenye busara, wazima katika imani na katika upendo na katika saburi. Tito 2:2 |
that older men should be temperate, sensible, sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, and in patience: |
| Vivyo hivyo na wazee wa kike wawe na mwenendo wa utakatifu; wasiwe wasingiziaji, wasiwe wenye kutumia mvinyo nyingi, bali wafundishao mema; Tito 2:3 |
and that older women likewise be reverent in behavior, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; |
| ili wawatie wanawake vijana akili, wawapende waume zao, na kuwapenda watoto wao; Tito 2:4 |
that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, |
| na kuwa wenye kiasi, kuwa safi, kufanya kazi nyumbani mwao, kuwa wema, kuwatii waume zao wenyewe; ili neno la Mungu lisitukanwe. Tito 2:5 |
to be sober-minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that God's word may not be blasphemed. |

Likewise, exhort the younger men to be sober-minded; |

in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in your teaching showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility, |
| na maneno yenye uzima yasiyoweza kuhukumiwa makosa, ili yule mwenye kupinga atahayarike, kwa kuwa hana neno baya la kunena juu yetu. Tito 2:8 |
and soundness of speech that can't be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us. |
| Watumwa na wawatii bwana zao, wakiwapendeza katika mambo yote; wasiwe wenye kujibu, Tito 2:9 |
Exhort servants to be in subjection to their own masters, and to be well-pleasing in all things; not contradicting; |
| wasiwe waibaji; bali wauonyeshe uaminifu mwema wote, ili wayapambe mafundisho ya Mwokozi wetu Mungu katika mambo yote. Tito 2:10 |
not stealing, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things. |
| Maana neema ya Mungu iwaokoayo wanadamu wote imefunuliwa; Tito 2:11 |
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, |
| nayo yatufundisha kukataa ubaya na tamaa za kidunia; tupate kuishi kwa kiasi, na haki, na utauwa, katika ulimwengu huu wa sasa; Tito 2:12 |
instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world; |
| tukilitazamia tumaini lenye baraka na mafunuo ya utukufu wa Kristo Yesu, Mungu mkuu na Mwokozi wetu; Tito 2:13 |
looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ; |
| ambaye alijitoa nafsi yake kwa ajili yetu, ili atukomboe na maasi yote, na kujisafishia watu wawe milki yake mwenyewe, wale walio na juhudi katika matendo mema. Tito 2:14 |
who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works. |
| Nena maneno hayo, onya na kukaripia kwa mamlaka yote; asikudharau mtu awaye yote. Tito 2:15 |
Say these things and exhort and reprove with all authority. Let no man despise you. |
