Sefania 2 : 9 Zephaniah chapter 2 verse 9

Basi kama niishivyo, asema Bwana wa majeshi, Mungu wa Israeli, Hakika Moabu atakuwa kama Sodoma, na wana wa Amoni kama Gomora, yaani, milki ya upupu, na mashimo ya chumvi, ukiwa wa daima; watu wangu waliosalia watawateka nyara, na watu wa taifa langu waliobaki watawarithi.

Therefore as I live, says Yahweh of Hosts, the God of Israel, surely Moab will be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, a possession of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation. The remnant of my people will plunder them, and the survivors of my nation will inherit them.
